With over 20 years of teaching experience with TAFE at certificate, associate diploma and diploma, as well as 4 years at University level in undergraduate and post graduate level courses in information systems and information technology, I am well qualified to pass on knowledge and skills at all levels including the design and delivery of specific industry courses to meet customer needs or in accordance with a national core curriculum objectives.

1.4.1 Installation of PC Computer Equipment
In a teaching role and as a contract computer consultant I have gained extensive experience in installing, testing and commissioning and carrying out diagnostic work and repairs on stand-alone and network computer systems for IBM compatible and Power Macs 6100/66 computers both in the classroom laboratory and in the workplace where students and trainees are taught:

2. Major Contract Project
During January to March 1995 while under contract to Memorex Telex, I joined the Communications team from NRMA as a LAN/WAN contractor to assist in configuring, installing, testing and commissioning Voice and Data Services for a new State Office in Brisbane at Central Plaza II and six branch offices located in Southport, Mt Gravatt, Toombul, Edward Street the City, Indooroopilly and Toowoomba.

2.1 The Project involved the following Technologies:
17 IBM PS/2 fileservers running OS/2, LANManager, DCA communications with a mainframe in Sydney on a token ring network

For the past 10years I have successfully carried out my own computer consultancy offering technical support in networking, data communications cabling and equipment, hardware upgrades and repairs, software installation and training for individuals and companies on the Sunshine Coast.

Clients I have provided a consultancy service for include: Suncoast Milk, Community Health Services - Sunshine Coast Region, Excel Quarries, Immanuel Lutheran College, Nambour State High School, Computer People, NRMA Project in Brisbane, Applied Micro Systems Pty Ltd., Noosa Pool and Spa, Birdwood Nursery, Appache Global IT, Ron Jackson & Associates, Computer People (Brisbane), Xair Aviation, Sunshine Coast Sub Tropical Fruit Association.

5. Contracting
I am available to carryout contracting work intrastate, interstate or overseas from July when my current contract with the University of the Sunshine Coast is completed
